Just like First Collection, the Primal Scream, and all the other Swarthmore traditions we love, making a small donation in your senior year is an important part of the Swarthmore experience. Not only are you honoring the time you've spent here, you're directly supporting current and future Swatties.
Thanks to Alumni Council, senior gifts of any amount—even $1—will be matched with $50 each to the Student Emergency Fund, which helps low-income students with emergency flights home, medical care, home internet access, and many more unexpected costs that fall outside of financial aid.
Supporting the Student Emergency Fund is one meaningful way we can ensure a Swarthmore education remains equitable and inclusive. With the great uncertainty we’ve all been facing this past year, we believe it's more important than ever to support one another.
We hope you’ll leverage Alumni Council's special match to support the Swarthmore students that will shape and change an institution that has touched all of our lives.
If you prefer to support a different program with your Senior Class Gift, like a student club, athletics team, department, or whatever inspires you, you will still be counted in the challenge and your gift will still trigger the $50 gift to the Student Emergency Fund.
When you commit to a recurring gift of 3 or more years, we'll send you an official Class of 2021 pint glass. This lightweight, bendable, unbreakable, take-anywhere silicone pint glass is the first senior class pint of its kind… and there's only a limited number of them! Unsure about making a recurring gift? It's easier than you think: for example, consider splitting a $21 donation across 3 years. That's a $7/year commitment to directly benefit your fellow Swatties!
Not ready to make a recurring gift but still want the pint? Make a gift of any amount then become an Advocate using the buttons below. Share your unique link with your classmates directly or on social media...if you get 3 other classmates to make gift of any amount, we'll send you a pint!
