Gifts to Men's & Women's Swimming contribute to...
Support the Swarthmore Swim teams during the 2022-2023 fiscal year!
The student-athletes on our team chose Swarthmore for the challenging academic experience and the opportunity to grow and compete as part of our SwatSwim family. They work hard in every area to develop skills, support their teammates, and have the best possible four-year student-athlete experience.
As coaches, we strive to provide our teams with the best resources and opportunities to train, grow, bond, and succeed in the classroom, the community, and the pool. Your gift will help us accomplish that mission!

Winter Training Trip to Puerto Rico
- Each January we head to sunny San Juan for an intense team training experience. This is an essential part of our physical training but is also a transformative team-building time. Living, training, eating, and splashing in the ocean together unite a team in a way that we cannot fabricate on campus.
- We aim to keep the trip affordable and accessible to all team members and your gift can help cover the balance.
Training Equipment Improvements
- Always innovating, our coaches are constantly exploring how our student-athletes bodies and minds connect to various sensations in the water. Our program has a large focus on power development requiring the use of lots of gear and power 'toys' in and out of the water.
- We are hoping to introduce more technology to improve feedback for swimmers with high-quality underwater cameras and easy-to-process video software. From power towers to weight belts, drag sox to resistance cords, and anything else we can think of, your gift can help us continue innovating in how we develop strength and power.
Odds and ends
- From team t-shirts to spare tech suits, sweet championship gear to a snorkeling trip in Puerto Rico, occasional team breakfasts, and team-building activities, your gift can help us fill in the holes in our expenses to make for a seamless, positive experience for all of our student-athletes.
If you require assistance making your gift or are considering a gift larger than $2,000, please contact Jose Nunez at jnunez1@swarthmore.edu
