About

The 2019 Senior Class Gift is our opportunity to help fellow Swatties. Our class gift supports the Student Emergency Fund (SEF), which helps Swatties facing unexpected financial needs by covering costs for things like medical care and expenses, grad school application fees, interview clothing, emergency flights home, DACA and green card renewal fees, and more. Last year, the SEF helped 159 students with over $28,000 in funds.

Your gift directly impacts the lives of current and future Swatties, and you can multiply your impact by leveraging a special match: for every senior that makes a gift of $1 or more, the Alumni Council will contribute $20.19 to the Student Emergency Fund. Our goal is to reach 200 seniors by graduation, which would mean an additional $4,000+ in needed support.

Note: If you prefer to support a different program with your Senior Class Gift, please know that you will still be counted in the challenge and your gift will still trigger the $20.19 gift to the Student Emergency Fund.

TODAY! Celebrate I <3 Swat Day with the Student Philanthropy Council

The LOVE does not end with Valentine's Day! SPC is inviting the Swarthmore community to share your love for the college at our annual I <3 Swat Day! Come hang with us in Shane Lounge on Feb 15th (TODAY!) from Noon-1pm, eat some free *I n s o m n i a C o o k i e s* and spread the L O V E.

94 gifts in ONE DAY!

We officially kicked off our Senior Class Gift campaign last night with a launch party in the beautiful new Sproul Hall Dome at the Hormel-Nguyen Intercultural Center.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out! We reached an amazing 94 gifts, which means Alumni Council will give an extra $500 to the Student Emergency Fund. Keep the momentum going and remind your friends and classmates to give!
