About

Swarthmore College is committed to meeting the unanticipated travel, technology, and emergency financial aid needs of our students affected by the COVID-19 crisis. The Student Emergency Fund is helping qualified students — those in the highest financial need tiers — cover expenses for food, medical care, home internet access, emergency shelter, and a host of other unexpected costs.

As we continue to monitor the evolving COVID-19 pandemic, many members of the Swarthmore community — alumni, friends, and parents — have asked how they can help those students impacted by things like relocation and unforeseen financial hardship.

The Student Emergency Fund provides emergency financial assistance to qualifying students — 100% of all gifts will support our students’ most pressing needs as they face new challenges in a rapidly changing world.

If you are able, please consider making a gift to the Student Emergency Fund and supporting our students during this unprecedented time.
